entX Limited has entered into a Heads of Agreement with DGA Energy Solutions Australia Pty Limited (DGA), to divest a 49% equity stake in entX Limestone Coast Hydrogen Project (LCH2 Project), a project planning to produce green hydrogen for Australia’s major tissue manufacturer Kimberly-Clark Australia.
This milestone marks a pivotal moment in our journey towards developing clean fuels for the Australian Manufacturing and Industrial sectors. By leveraging hydrogen technology, we are not only reducing the carbon footprint of our customers but paving the way for a more sustainable domestic manufacturing sector.
DGA brings a wealth of experience via its global portfolio of renewable energy and green hydrogen projects, which will provide the capability and experience required to develop the project. The agreement provides a clear validation of the attractive investment profile, this project has generated.
Green Hydrogen, renowned for its clean energy potential, is set to transform industrial and manufacturing processes, and Kimberly-Clark Australia is at the forefront of this paradigm shift through its assessment of this proven carbon abatement technology.
The partnership between entX and DGA will not only harness the power of hydrogen to support manufacturing process efforts to reduce their emissions footprint but will also set new manufacturing standards for sustainability within this sector.
The LCH2 Project is currently in the finalisation of its Feasibility Assessment and subject to approval. Conditional on a final investment decision first hydrogen production is planned for 2027.
