The Limestone Coast Hydrogen Hub is a unique project co-located at Kimberly-Clark’s Millicent Mill.
By leveraging green hydrogen, the mill aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2030. The project will transition the mill to clean energy in two stages, with the full transition planned for 2029.
Watch the 3D model of the proposed Kimberley-Clark Australia Green Hydrogen Hub in Millicent:
Green hydrogen is blended at 20% by volume into the natural gas, the primary fuel source to electrify and supply process heat into the plant.
100% of all heating gas fuel demand transitioning to green hydrogen.
The broader vision is to establish the Limestone Coast as a hydrogen hub, supporting local industries and potentially enabling future export opportunities.
